Discordian Calendars for 03183 (2017)

Still trying to negotiate its own identity, caught between the paradise of its ideals and the realities of its history still fresh on our tongues, wheezing noisily. Gathered around looking concerned and asking about our stereos, might not be loud enough. Bumped very lightly into a limp and fangless thing: government-subsidized poets, vague nonsense zombies who wrote verses and talked revolution, with an insatiable hunger for news.

Get out of that rut and into a good pot hole. Get out of that pot hole and into a good sink hole. Get out of that sink hole and into a good puddle. Get out of that puddle, the waves have teeth.

After the crash, the night mares came. “You’ll never sleep alone,” mother whispered. “Not now, not forever.” Death would soon become fun again.

Discordian Calendar 03180

I had a bit of a hard-drive failure this year and have yet to recover fully enough to begin working on new themes. So, instead, I offer some old themes, updated for the new year.

Occupy Valentine’s Day

Occupy Valentine’s Day

On my Discordian calendar, I have this listed as both Valentine’s Day and Single’s Appreciation Day.

Perhaps I’ll modify it to contain something a bit more inclusive next year.

This is still an early draft. The goal is to have 365 images of Eris or Eris-like beings. I’m no where near that goal yet.

For any contributions you’d like to make, post a comment with links to the images; I always read my spam. And no black-heavy or dark images; this is meant to be printed.

For any removals you’d like to request, post a comment with the date in the calendar; the image will be removed in the next update.

The next version will be uploaded some time next year or whenever I get around to it. Honestly, I’m not too thrilled about this project; it’s too large and I doubt anyone will ever print it.
